Navigating CIRS can feel overwhelming. As a pharmacist and fellow CIRS patient, I understand the challenges of finding answers, coordinating care, interpreting testing, and staying the course during recovery.
My background in pharmacy gave me the clinical foundation to understand the science behind CIRS — the biotoxin pathway, the treatment protocols, the medications and supplements involved. But it was my own diagnosis and recovery journey that gave me something no textbook could: the lived experience of what it actually takes to move forward.
My goal is to provide education, support, and practical guidance to help you move forward with confidence — whether you're newly diagnosed, stuck in the middle of the Shoemaker Protocol, or trying to make sense of your labs.
Katrina is a consultant Pharmacist, CIRSx Coach, former CIRS patient, and has completed advanced training in medically important remediation — allowing her to educate clients on both the clinical and environmental aspects of CIRS recovery.
Extensive clinical training in pharmacology, drug therapy, and patient care — providing the scientific foundation to interpret CIRS protocols and medications.
Specialized coaching for patients navigating Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome — from initial diagnosis through the full Shoemaker Protocol and beyond. Certifications include: CIRSx Coach and Consultant Certification, and CIRSx Medically Important Remediation Professional Certification.
Personal experience navigating CIRS recovery — understanding the emotional, logistical, and medical challenges from the inside, not just from a clinical distance.
20 years of clinical pharmacy practice across multiple healthcare settings — bringing a broad perspective on medication management, patient advocacy, and care coordination.
Every CIRS patient's journey is different. I don't offer a one-size-fits-all script — I offer a thoughtful, individualized conversation grounded in both clinical knowledge and lived experience.
Whether you need help interpreting your labs, understanding your treatment options, coordinating with your care team, or simply having someone in your corner who gets it — I'm here to help you move forward with clarity.
